This line was great when Michael Kay said it after their '96 Series win, but he started screaming it after every win, regular and post season, and it got real old real fast.

 

Are the 1998 Yankees the best team ever? The fact that there's even a discussion about that says a lot. I say they need to do the same thing a for few more years before they become immortlized in baseball history as "the best." But the important thing is that they were the best team that season (you can ask the San Diego Puds) and the baseball best team I've ever seen play. The question is, can they do it again (and again)? We shall see.
Sweeeeeeeep! 2-4-6-8 Who do we appreciate? The Padres, the Padres, the Padres! The guy who jumps the highest is the MVP Oh yeah!
